Suit, Tuxedo & Blazer

MON AMIE 05-11-2017

Suit, Tuxedo and Blazer have long become indispensable men's clothing in important events, conferences or work. These product lines all bring elegance, courtesy and personality to the wearer, helping them to become more confident when communicating, and at the same time receiving positive reviews from the opposite people.

However, for many people, at first glance these 3 types of costumes are quite similar, some even think that it is just a general suit. But the reality is that the suit, tuxedo and blazer all have details & functions that are appropriate for any given occasion. So what is the difference between these 3 products?

1. Suit

A suit consisting of a jacket - Suit Jacket and trousers - Trouser of the same fabric (same material, color & texture). Suits can be worn in the workplace, or worn on serious and luxurious occasions such as interviews, conferences, meeting partners...

On weekdays, you just need to wear a Suit with a shirt; However, in some big events (such as weddings), you may be asked to wear an extra Ghile.

Accessories that come with the Suit can be Caravat, bow, PocketSquare bag scarf, cufflinks (cufflink-set)... Depending on the occasion of wearing and the lapel style of the Suit Jacket, you can choose the appropriate accessories.

For example, the powerful Peak Label Jacket always goes with the Caravat, while the Shawl neckline that often appears in Tuxedo goes with the bow.

2. Tuxedo

Also known as Dinner Suit, also a set that includes jacket and casual pants like Suit. However, tuxedo is often worn to formal but not ceremonial events, nor is it worn to the workplace.

The most obvious difference that distinguishes a Tuxedo from a Suit is that Tuxedo's jackets have a ruched neckline that is polished by silk or satin. True to the name Dinner Suit, Tuxedo is considered an outfit for evening parties. In terms of accessories, Tuxedo always comes with a bow instead of a tie.

3. Blazer

This is an outfit that can be worn on so many different occasions: from luxurious formal events to laid-back occasions. Blazer jackets are designed with seams and cutouts to create a more comfortable and loose fit than a suit jacket.

The most obvious difference between Blazers and Suits is that they do not need to be worn with trousers of the same color. Depending on different occasions, you can combine Blazer with khaki pants, jeans, or pants of different colors, even shorts, ...

Blazer fabrics are very diverse (Wool, Silk, Linen, Cotton...) along with many different colors, checkered patterns, stripes. Blazer has a fairly free and liberal style, bringing a personal beauty to the gentleman every time he uses it. As a result, blazers are often preferred over suit jackets.
